Even if you have a dishwasher there is always a need to handwash kitchen goods. We think this dish drying mat is a perfect solution if you don’t want a tall or unattractive dish drying rack where mildew grows. It’s also easy to tuck away when you have guests over or you need the counter space for prep.
This version has a linen sleeve with a wool insert. It absorbs 30% of it’s own weight in moisture and naturally resists mold and mildew. It’s easy to clean. The linen can be washed and the wool can be sanitized by placing in the sun for a few hours.
