“Japonica was created one beautiful Spring day. Out in the garden, enjoying the shapes and tones of greenery, the I tried to capture the leaves in ink and convey only the simple bold shapes of the leaves”.

About the frames:

The print is Euro sizing so we planned ahead and found frames that fit this print perfectly. Sustainable European aluminum and FSC and PETC certified woods. Easy mounting options are already in place on the back. Comes with clear float glass. Made by Larson - Juhl a premier pre-assembled frame company.

Colors/Materials: White and Black frames are aluminum and white oak is solid wood.

The artist is Elaine Field and made in collaboration with Hotel Magique. Elaine Field has worked as a design director and illustrator her entire career until she recently switched to paper and fiber, now working as an artist intuitively creating and exploring unusual color combinations. Seeking the perfectly imperfect composition within a piece of work whilst striving to create a feeling of effortless ease and harmony.
