Wood spatulas are a natural choice as an alternative material to silicone spatulas. The white oak is robust yet will not scratch your pans. White oak is considered a hard wood and will stand up to heat and cold temps while cooking.
To clean: Avoid soaking wood in water since expanding and contracting of wood can break down it’s strength overtime. To keep your spoons in good shape and conditioned, rub food grade mineral oil on occasionally.
