Workshop with Beau Rush - May 2nd
Cameron from Beau Rush has graciously offered to host a two hour handbuilding workshop. The focus will be on vases and vessels. This is the last opportunity to learn from such talent before she heads to Montauk for the summer.
About the experience:
Learn the fundamentals of clay and join us for a hand-building group workshop. Beau Rush Owner/Creator Cameron teaches all things clay, form & surface technique while you relax with a new form of meditation & messy fun! How can you say no? No experience necessary, bring a friend or gift a friend a good time! Exact address will be send at time of booking.
Timing:
Friday, May 2nd
Workshop runs from 6-8pm
Arrive anytime before the workshop, browse Storied (and shop if interested). If interested you will receive a free welcoming mocktail or cocktail and can purchase sips of bubbly, white or red wine during throughout the workshop. Small snack packs of sweet and salty bites will be offered as well.
At checkout, no need to select ‘delivery’ as a physical ticket will not be mailed.
About Beau Rush:
Beau Rush Ceramics is a deviation from mass-produced tableware, each piece has unique irregularities, no two pieces are alike. With a second degree in Fine Arts Sculpture from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Brooklyn based artist Cameron Bishop embraces the aesthetic of imperfection in ceramics for everyday functional use. Supporting her studio life working for such notable hoteliers as Ian Schrager and Andre Balazs her sensibilities around making tableware was a natural process. Cameron’s approach to distilled irregular forms and organic tableware designs are on display at restaurants De Maria, L’Estudio, and Egg Shop in NYC. You can also find Beau Rush Ceramics at retail locations Warm NY, and Homecoming in Brooklyn.
